The Beretta World Sporting Championships will this year take place on Friday 5 – Sunday 7 July 2013 at a stunning new venue, The Holywell Estate in Hampshire.

The Holywell Estate is situated in the new South Downs National Park, in the unspoilt rolling countryside of the Meon Valley in Hampshire. Holywell extends to over 800 acres of varied landscape including ancient semi-natural woodland, river meadows and historic parkland. Holywell House, believed to date back to the 1700s, is at the heart of this working estate and is home to the Earl and Countess of Clarendon and family.

Clay Shooter is a major sponsor of this year’s event, along with Breitling, ELEY Hawk, Laporte clays and traps and Peltor. With a total prize fund of over £25,000 including Breitling watches, Beretta shotguns, Eley cartridges and Peltor earmuffs, there are several good reasons to participate! And remember, Beretta World is open to all – it’s not exclusive, it’s all-inclusive – so don’t think you aren’t good enough; give it a go.

Karl Waktare, Managing Director of GMK Ltd, said: “The Beretta World is one of the highlights of our year. It’s great to meet our loyal Beretta shooters, many of whom return year on year. 2013 will be exciting. The new venue can only be described as stunning and impressive! It’s going to be a great weekend of exciting clay shooting!”

As in previous years the course will be designed by Bob Clarke and Peter Corney, who are renowned for creating challenging and original courses that can test more able shooters without excluding less experienced shots. 120 targets will be shot over 15 stands, positioned in a variety of situations, over this attractive landscape.
